ABOUT

REIKI  PRACTITIONER

Reiki (pronounced “ray key”) is believed to have originated thousands of years ago in Tibet and then re-discovered by Mikao Usui, a Japanese man, in 1921, having received it on a beam of light directly from the Source. Reiki is composed of two Japanese words- Rei and Ki. “Rei” can be defined as a universal or spiritual intelligence: “Ki” can mean life energy.

As each colour on the rainbow is actually a different frequency or vibration of white light, the Reiki ray can be considered a range of vibrations of the universal energy, but perhaps a range that is beyond the normal access of each individual.

Reiki is a non-invasive therapy that involves a practitioner placing hands on or near a client’s body to guide energy and encourage self-healing. Usual placements of the practitioners hands are the head, shoulders, stomach and feet. Other placements of hands will depend on the specific needs of the client. Each placement of the hands is held for about 2 to 5 minutes and the entire treatment can last from 30 minutes to 90 minutes.

Reiki is It has an amazing energy that comes from the highest spiritual source. It has its own intelligence and knows exactly where to go and what to do. It is multi-dimensional and non-denominational and will heal the cause of a problem on whatever level it may exist- body, mind, and spirit. It does not have to be directed by the practitioner. Because it is channeled healing energy, the Reiki practitioner’s energies are never depleted.

I am a certified Reiki Master of the Usui Ryoho System of Reiki Healing. My Reiki Mater is Halliday Walsh and her lineage flows back to Dr. Mikao Usui. I have been practicing Reiki for years and can offer Reiki healing alone or can combine with medical qigong. I find that medical qigong and Reiki is like giving your Reiki session some steroids. The qigong helps open you up more so the life force energy can be fully utilized.

ABOUT QIGONG

With Blue Dragon Daoist Medical Qigong you will learn exercises, breathwork, meditations, and other tools to help you repair your body,  prevent illness, disease, and find inner peace.

Medical Qigong is the art of cultivating your Qi.  (pronounced chee gong) Through easy movements, one can clear blockages and get your energy to flow through your meridians with no obstructions. Emotions can play a big factor in our health causing many ailments and health issues. Medical Qigong is one of the best tools for the releasing of these emotions and getting to the root of the problem.

HOW I STARTED

My testimonial is simple. About six and a half years ago, I needed surgery to fix my shoulder that dislocated almost weekly. I could not sleep on the side of my bad shoulder. I found Qigong shortly after this diagnosis and tried different styles. Three and a half years ago, in September 2020, I found my Master Love on a Qigong summit.
Within one year of practicing Blue Dragon Daoist Medical Qigong, my shoulder was fixed. My back issues with degenerative disks were also fixed. At this point, I decided to become an instructor and one year later I started teaching.
